The delight that is Nottingham Beach has been back in the city since July, and while it’s leaving very soon, it’s still around until tomorrow.
So, I thought I’d share a little post about my very quick evening wander around Old Market Square’s annual beach.
Our quick walk around the beach was after a meal at Pieminister (review coming soon!) So, sadly we didn’t have much time for exploring everything the beach had to offer. We didn’t get chance to go on any rides, but with a belly full of pie, that wouldn’t have been wise, would it?
We did have time to take in the sights though (including some fantastic Dad dancing on display in the bar area) as well as the great atmosphere.
There’s a beach bar, hook-a-duck, palm tree lights aplenty, several fairground rides; and, of course, the beach itself!
While it feels like we haven’t really had much of a summer across the East Midlands, this certainly gives the illusion of a more exotic climate.
It’s been around since July, but is leaving Old Market Square on 3rd September, so get down there quickly if you haven’t been already!
